Trend Update: Gingham
Little Bo Peep, à la Spring/Summer 2014. Put away the tartans, checks and dogtooth patterns, for the queen of all classic prints is back: Gingham. Worn as a simple accessory or a full blown outfit, this monochrome print is perfectly bold and quirky.

Beauty: Kiko Cosmetics Haul
I recently spent a couple of days in the beautiful Italian city of Florence on an Art trip, and inbetween the galleries and church visits, managed to find a little bit of time for some retail therapy - Italian style, at Kiko cosmetics.
In case you haven’t heard of Kiko, it’s an Italian makeup brand, with a huge range of stuff at really reasonable prices. To give you an idea - I managed to pick up all these nail varnishes (up there ^) for €1 each. Though these were on special offer, even the non-reduced prices are fabulous.
My nail colours for this summer, ranging from earthy tones to warm reds and cool blues.
Colours: On A Lilac Cloud
I’m not usually one for pastel colours, but there’s something about the grandma in lilac that has made me rather fond of this popular new spring shade. Splattered across the SS14 shows, (particularly Burberry), lilacs and lavenders seem to be the sweet pick of the moment.
Nail Polish: Ciaté in Poppet, £9
Bikini: Topshop, £25 (for set)
Dress: Zara, £19.99
Skirt: Dorothy Perkins, £25
Sunglasses: ASOS, £15
I’ve expanded (not literally)
Gone and got the blog an instagram account, where I’ll be reposting my own stuff along with designer photos and general fashion pieces!

Catwalk Equations: Spring/Summer 2014
It’s officially Spring - as of two days ago - so thought I’d celebrate by checking out the fashion forecast for the season. I’ve picked out a few of my favourite designers/outfits from the SS14 shows, and scoured the highstreet for a way of bringing them closer to home.
1. Valentino - this collection was covered head to toe in stunningly detailed Aztec/Folk embroidery. Black and floaty, with a distinctive and intriguing flash of colour I absolutely love this look
Top: Topshop, £20
Kimono/Shawl: New Look, £17.99
Sandals: Dune, £59
2. Lanvin - perhaps not a go-to name when it comes to designers, but Lanvin’s SS14 collection for me was head and shoulders above the rest. Spring-green is transformed into an iridescent spectrum, in every shade and shimmer imaginable
Necklace: Forever 21, £8.40
Blouse: Farfetch, £125
Skirt: Topshop, £65
3. Burberry - into Spring and back into pastel territory. Burberry channels this classic trend with a twist by putting mints with baby blues and lilacs with cherry blossom pink, and altogether mixing them up. Team with a single momentary burst of bright colour à la hot pink sandals and you’ve stepped towards summer
Coat: Zara, £79.99
Skirt: New Look, £24.99
Sandals: Office, £40
Today’s Outfit: High Voltage
Following from my post about boilersuits…I possibly went out and bought one. Well I say one, I bought two, not being able to decide between Topshop’s Luxe or Casual. The casual, however, is on its way heading back to the Topshop warehouse, after much deliberation. To anyone who is intrigued by this trend, I reaally advise investing - a boilersuit is not only comfortable, but versatile and just altogether a really fun outfit.

Trend Update: All In Ones, the New Edition
So the All-In-One trend has been floating around for a while then, from jumpsuits, to playsuits, to dungarees and pinafores. Easy to merge from day to night, and winter to summer, this trend has something for everywhere, everytime and everyone.
But there’s a new edition to the family: the boilersuit. Whether you go full out electrician style (à la Topshop’s Casual Boiler Suit) or an elegant silky version, I absolutely love this trend.
Pinafore: Motel, £45
Playsuit: Topshop, £65
Jumpsuit: River Island, £65
Dungarees: Miss Selfridge, £49
Boilersuit: Topshop, £55
Again, apologies for being so absent - it’s a real struggle to make posts and juggle exams and coursework.
Am working on a post in mind, so shall hopefully get that up this week - in the mean time, feel free to post some questions!
Today’s Outfit: Trucker Life
Step into vintage denim this season. I’ve become a bit of an ebay whore recently, and have managed to get my hands on both a vintage Levis Sherpa jacket - above (£12!) and a pair of vintage wrangler Mom jeans (£6!). Oversized, baggy and ridiculously comfy I’ve fallen head over heels for this vintage denim trend.
